She'll think you're weeeeeeird. Steffi wears black and white a lot. I'm interested to see what she says too.

Haha, I bet Steffi now thinks that LLTB is weird. I like blue better than red because too much bright red hurts my eyes. I do have a couple of red ties though. Thanks for the answer, combatbaby!

My scanner won't let me scan the colour... it's a little bit darker than the colour of the ocean. Think of it that way. PS: I prefer original over weird, thank you very much.

Fine, fine. Combatbaby, did you find about about the Top 4 song picks and any possibilities that Steffi had for the Top 3 Standards?

I read Steffi's message while I was working, and I had a grin from ear to ear ever since. Thanks Combatbaby, and thanks Steffi! My mind is now at ease, and the message was excellent. I'm so happy for her, and I'm glad she has events lined up. (She also has a musical theater fund-raiser, if you look at the CTV calendar). She is on the right track and hasn't slowed down. She even is planning to get a MySpace, which will give her more visibility. I'm excited and fascinated about Steffi's foray into talk radio. It's a great gig to have while you're in school. I'm going to try to listen to the show via the Internet, and I hope that works out. Here's some info about the show: I admit I'm also a little nervous about this. It's risky for an entertainer to mix celebrity and politics (ex. the Dixie Chicks) unless the artist is promoting something that most people agree with, like an end to poverty or AIDS. Many people don't like singers and actors telling them how to think. And when entertainers start becoming liberal or conservative activists, it divides the pop culture and injects a nastiness into it. That's the great thing about the Idol shows--people from across the political spectrum can enjoy and share it. It builds cultural unity. That aside, I can't wait to see how Steffi thinks on her feet when callers bring up current events, politics and sports. This show sounds like a radio version of "The View," and I'm sure we'll learn more about Steffi as a person through this, so that's cool. In the mean time, I'm knocking on wood, crossing my fingers and praying for her safe return to Ottawa. I hope good things happen from her auditions.
