So is anyone going to go to see Steffi's play on Monday? I thought we had one or two people between this board and the CTV board who said they would try. It'd be cool if we got a French speaker to give a review on the play's plot, characters and dialogue.
However, there's nothing about the play or its admission prices or times on the theater's Web site. I don't even know if it's open to the public.

I checked, and it's open to the public. It's at some theater on Berkeley St. at 8 p.m. in Toronto. Admission is $10.
Since I'm not starting my new job until later this week, I could've gone to the play. But I would've had to blow $200 on train fare and a hotel. That's way too much to see a play that I wouldn't understand, especially since Steffi herself isn't performing.
I hope she'll do some kind of singing or acting gig in Toronto this summer though. I'd like to go watch her perform again, but the circumstances would have to be right.

As far as I know, Steffi is just watching other professional actors perform her play in a staged reading. At least, that's what it sounded like she was saying in articles and in her blog. Steffi's job was to work with a playwright to fine-tune and edit her play for production. If she had an acting role, she'd otherwise have to commute from Ottawa to Toronto in addition to doing schoolwork, auditioning for colleges and doing "Moitie Moitie." Doing all that would be impossible unless Steffi knows how to teleport and slow down time.

That's fine, ibow. You just need to find out soon whether you can go. That way you can still get a ticket if you're able to attend.

How do you get tickets? Do you have to actually go to the NAC to get them?

Go to the Steffi news thread; Ben Durocher has an ad that tells you how. IIRC, you can contact Ticketmaster, the theater or even Ben, I think.
