Dang, that's one long shower. Congratulations on your band awards! What instrument you play, and to what kind of music?

Cool. The only "modern" classical music I can think of are soundtracks like "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter." Is it stuff like that?

well, okay... not exactly like that, but i have played those before. it's stuff in that genre, and it is in that time period... but less commercial.

My best friend gave me his old PS2 yesterday because he wanted one of the smaller versions instead. I haven't played video games at home in several years, but the thing could come in handy when I have company over.
Do any of you play video games?

I've played Guitar Hero when they had a demo of it at the local computer store, and it was addicting. I typically like those kind of music/DDR type games.

GOOOD NEWS FROM ALEXA! my voice exam wasn't nearrrrlly as bad as i thought it was going to be. i didn't know my french song (so i was frightened to DEATH) but i asked him if i could use my music, & even though it's against the rules, he let me. (since i had to sing another 4 languages, he thought it was only apporpriate). I did kinda bad on my sight reading and rhythms imo, but he helped me through them and so it wasn't so embarassing. even though he made me clap out a 6/8 time (which i, for some reason, can never seem to get my head around, even though i had just previously sang a piece in 6/8 time.. :S) but it was fine. my intervals weren't TOO bad ( i may have gotten them wrong though ) and my chords and short pieces i pretty much knew. AND he let me pick the composer that i wanted to talk about myself. and then he went on about how he knows him and hasn't seem him in a while ( ). but anyway. IT WAS GOOD. now i have my recital on wednesday and i have a day to learn 2 songs! how exciting!

I don't know if this counts as good news, but I somehow lost six pounds over the last three weeks. I've always been at a normal weight for someone of my size, but I'm trying to see if I can get abs in time for summer. It's a good thing my apartment has a free weight room. If all goes well tomorrow, maybe I'll have some more good news...
