alright, i'm gonna clear things up over here, but you have to promise that you won't say anything to anyone, okay guys? like i said on the other forum, the reason his answers are so messed up is because he didn't know they were gonna ask those questions. neither one of them knows how CTV and eTalk daily found out about them (or what used to be them, cause it is over) and craig was confused. he didn't exagerate anything. steffi has asked me not to say anything but it's hard when people have the story so messed up. steffi and craig are still really good friends, i can guarantee you that.

Thanks for clearing things up, combatbaby. I won't repeat the stuff you said here on the other boards. Although it's good that Craig isn't a liar, I don't get this talk about him sounding confused or being confusing. He was a little vague in the details, but his response seemed straightforward to me. I still think Craig came off poorly by kissing and telling, and it's not the first time he made a PR blunder. On Top 4 week, he put a link on his Idol blog that directed fans to pictures--including one of him boozing it up and smoking. Then he recently put up a MySpace filled with careless spelling errors. In the end, this eTalk matter is a non-issue if Steffi is proud of her past with Craig. If she is ashamed about it and wanted it kept a secret, well... now is a good time to learn about life. I wish the best for her though, and I hope this won't keep her camera-shy in the future. Keep smiling, Steffi!

Thanks Combatbaby, that's interesting, its funny because everyone always thought it was Brandon and her, not Craig. So they did have a short romance though, I really wonder who told Etalk and CTV about it.

what i mean by his answers being confused is right at the end, when asked if it's still going on, he answers "maybe... i don't know" but then again, he is a newfie jk

Oh, I doubt it was some huge secret backstage. It's a miracle that this news didn't leak sooner. The only weird thing is the timing of bringing it up after the show's end.
I know someone on here is going to try out for Idol. Here's a bit of advice: Don't do anything behind the scenes that you wouldn't want on the front page of a newspaper.

Maybe it didn't come up until after the show for the same reason that Eva and Chad didn't come up until after the voting. They didn't want anything to affect the results of the finale??

I don't think that would've mattered anyway. Ben Mulroney was eager to expose any Idol relationships during the third semifinal week. Remember how he was badgering Steffi and Ashley Coles?
The show probably would've rubbed "Breffi" in our faces if the two of them didn't deny they were a couple.

Clear your calendars, folks! Steffi has another gig, this time at the war museum: Can I count on someone going on Friday to take pics and give a report on what happened?

how do you know steffi is in those? According to the Web site, she'll be there performing with a military band (I think) on Friday, Nov. 10. I'm really curious to see what she does, given the nature of the event. I hope it's more than just "O Canada," but anything is better than nothing!

The CTV Web site has a calendar of events that the Idols are doing. Steffi has a ton of stuff on there, so much so that she made the front page's image next to the calendar link:
November, 2006:
4/ Steffi D appears at the Governor General's performing arts award Gala.
10/ Steffi D sings with the Central Band of the Canadian Forces at the Remembrance Week opening ceremony the Canadian War Museum (Ottawa)
18/ Steffi D performs at the Orleans (Ont.) Online Outstanding Youth Award gala (http://www.orleansonline.ca/pages/OYA.htm)
20/ Steffi D and her puppet troupe will perform for members of the Senate and public for National Child Day (Parliament Hill, Ottawa)
21/ Greatest Performances DVDs from all four years of Canadian Idol available in stores
23/ Steffi D performs at a fundraiser for the Ottawa Distress Centre, with a special live appearance beforehand on Majic 100 FM.
I'm so glad she is keeping busy and getting her name out there. That's our girl!
